Spring fever is going to hit hard soon--and the best way to look the part is to give your complexion a light golden glow. Slathering on full-strength self-tanner may impart too much color and look obviously fake so early in the season.| 18/206 | ||

Stupid question but is this helpful for African Americans or people with darker skin?

Yes - your skin tans the same as mine...you need the same SPF protection. Don't forget that self-tanning lotions do not contain SPF to protect against the damaging UV rays. Be sure to let the moisturizer dry completely before applying any further products. (This will let the sunless tanning lotion work.)

Chanel makes the best self-tanner on the market. It comes in two shades, golden and bronze. Cost is $45, but well worth it. It works very quickly and doesn't leave a bad smell, in fact, it smells like cookie dough!

I like Malibu Hemp Golden Glow self-tanning lotion. It has a lot of moisture in it and leaves your skin soft and not sticky
