Promises plumpness and definition. Long bristles run down the center, with shorter, tightly packed ones on either side. The shorter bristles - used first - coat the lashes; on the second swipe, turn the brush so the long bristles separate lashes. "While the concept is clever and, when used correctly, does work, having to angle the brush in two specific directions seems too difficult," says cosmetic chemist Ni'Kita Wilson.
